Homemade Berry Jam Recipe
Leo's own recipe
This berry jam is a favourite with Leo Bamford and her family. It's perfect for sandwiches, on toast and as a sweet topping for porridge.
The jam will stay fresh in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week, but we guarantee that it won't hang around that long once you've tried it!
Why it's perfect for kids:
No Nasties
This jam is free from additional sugar, and is homemade, meaning no nasties like preservatives, flavourings and additives.
Packed With Vitamins & Minerals
Mixed berries offer numerous health benefits due to their rich antioxidant content, which helps combat oxidative stress and reduce inflammation in the body. Packed with essential vitamins, minerals, and dietary fibre, these berries contribute to improved digestion, strengthened immune system, and enhanced heart health.
Essential Fatty Acids & Fibre
Chia seeds provide a myriad of health benefits as they are a fantastic source of omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, and protein. The omega-3s in chia seeds support brain health and reduce inflammation, while the high fibre content promotes healthy digestion and helps regulate blood sugar levels.
We love using this jam for fun heart-shaped sandwiches. They are the perfect on the go snack for your children.
